Description

The Engulfed are the inhabitants of the day-side, where the sun never leaves the sky. They are beings of molten rock, thriving in temperatures that would vaporize steel. To the Engulfed, the night-side is a creeping "nothingness" that threatens their warmth, to which they must burn away and fend off the shadows of the dark.

Faction Archetype

The ENGULFED's Faction Archetype is Sacrifice, allowing the ENGULFED to Field Scrap.

When an ally unit is scrapped, the ENGULFED faction immediately plays any of these effects:

• Conversion: Perform no effects, gain +1 additional Turn Point
• Ablaze: Select any number of cells equivalent to the Trade value and apply the BRN Status.
• Enrage: Select any deployed ally Frontline card. Apply BRN Status to all adjacent cells and restore Max HP.
• From The Flame: Select any cell currently under BRN status and deploy 1 card from the users hand equivalent to the trade value. The deployed card only costs 1 Turn Point and ignores Deployment Delay.

Additional Effects

ENGULFED or ally Frontline and Structure cards can be affected by BRN Status, but cannot be affected by the On Fire Status.

When an ENGULFED Frontline card moves onto a cell affected by BRN Status, the status effect is cleared and the card is restored to Max HP. If the card is already at Max HP, no effects are applied and the status remains.
